An early, long, and complete African Bakuba cloth from Zaire as worn in dances. Field of patchwork from a rhythm of irregular shapes in different tones of brown earth color. Original fringes on the sides. The endings are mounted with small shells. Overall very good condition. Circa 1950. From a Viennese collection.
